Summer Glau is an American actor who was famous for playing River Tam in the critically popular TV show Firefly and also as Cameron in the TV series Terminator. The Sarah Connor Chronicles. In addition to these her roles, she appeared in the shows The 4400 The Unit The Cape Arrow Sequestered and Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck and also appearing as a guest on the show Hawaii Five-0. The actress who starred in movies like Serenity and Knights of Badassdom has also produced a variety of TV movies and short films including Mammoth The Birth of Sarah Deadly Honeymoon Help to Celebrate holidays Dead End and Inside the Box to name a few. Glau is the recipient of numerous awards and honors. Glau made it into two times FHM's 100 Sexiest Ladies of the World and was also featured in Wizard magazine's Sexiest Women of TV list. Maxim added the American in their Hot 100. Her acting accomplishments include her winning the SFX Award, which she took home for Serenity. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . The third child of Marcela Quintanilla and Abraham Quintanilla. When Selena was eight, she started an active career with a group that was formed by her father. The group consisted of Selena and her younger siblings Abraham junior who played the base guitar and Sister Suzette playing drums as well as Selena was the lead singer in the group. They were known as Selena Y Los Dino and they would play with her siblings in a variety of places like wedding fairs, bars, and restaurants as well as many other places. Selena's siblings and she didn't have her childhood as the band took up the majority of her time. Their father Abraham did, however, encourage the band members to be determined by urging them on. Abraham senior was also a musician in the band that was originally called Los Dinos. Selena Y Los Dinos were first officially formed in 1981. The band was a tradition of the family and was the main source of family income. Quintanilla's parents persevered throughout the first years of financial struggles. Selena Y Los Dinos would be popular in the west states in the late 1980s. Selena won the Female Vocalist Award and the Performer's Year award at the Tejano awards in the year 1986. Selena Y Los Dinos gained recognition and fame after that. They made appearances on several Spanish show on TV like El Show De Johnny Canales Siempre En Domingo and Sabado Gigante.
